THE HOLIDAYS CONTINUE AS DOWNTOWN BENTONVILLE HOSTS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE

Bentonville, AR - Saturday, December 9th the Bentonville Christmas Parade returns to the streets of Downtown Bentonville.  

This year’s theme is ‘Merry and Bright’ and is brought to you by Hershey’s, Black Hills Energy, and Community Coffee.  The free, family-friendly parade will feature more than 100 floats and attractions, with more than 1000 participants making their way down the streets of Downtown Bentonville.  

New this year, the parade route is expanding.  The parade will begin at the corner of 8th Street and Main Street, continue down Main Street, and around the famed Downtown Bentonville Square, and then, new 2023, the parade will make a left turn on SW A St off of NW 2nd St, before ending at First Baptist Church on SW A St. in between 2nd and 3rd Streets.

Street closures will be necessary to keep the public and participants safe, and parking may be limited so arriving early is recommended.  A parade map is attached to this release.

This year the parade will be emceed by Darren Bobb and Alexandra Burnley.  Bobb and Burnley co-host 5 News at 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm on KFSM (CBS).  

On Christmas morning at 9:00, KFSM will air a one hour special of the ‘Merry and Bright’ Downtown Bentonville Christmas Parade. The parade TV show will be hosted by Downtown Bentonville Incorporated’s Executive Director, Dana Schlagenhaft, and Communication Director, Aaron Nolan.

The Bentonville Christmas Parade and Parade Show are produced by the non-profit organization Downtown Bentonville Incorporated, with support from community partners:  Walmart, Walton Family Foundation, the City of Bentonville, and Visit Bentonville
