FIRST FRIDAY RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN BENTONVILLE

News

Bentonville, AR - July 7th, Downtown Bentonville Inc., is hosting its monthly First Friday Fueled by Zoa Energy Drinks with a celebration of ‘The Great Outdoors’.

July’s First Friday will be an exhibition of all the wonderful outdoor activities that our area has to offer.  The Hershey Company returns in July with S’mores, a photo booth, and giveaways.

Joining First Friday as emcee is Arkansas Razorback football legend D.J. Williams.  Williams won the prestigious Mackey Award as a senior at the U of A, given to the best college tight end in the country, and is currently a TV News anchor and real estate agent in Little Rock.

The music for ‘The Great Outdoors’ will be some of the best country music around our region.  First Friday’s Country Fest will be headlined by Arkansas native David Adam Byrnes who takes the stage at 7:30 pm. Byrnes has won several awards, including being named the 2023 Arkansas Country Artist of the Year.

Byrnes said, “It means so much anytime I get a chance to come back to my home state and Northwest Arkansas is one of the most beautiful places on earth in my opinion. I can’t wait to catch up with many friends and most of all do what I love most, play country music.”

Bentonville’s Got Talent winner Gavin Sumrall takes the stage at 5 pm, A&E Music will begin at 6 pm, and a Community Country Line Dance Lesson will be at 7 pm.

First Friday ‘Lunch Break’ continues this month, allowing folks to enjoy the food trucks around the square a little early.  Our local food trucks will start serving lunch at 11 am.

As always parking is difficult, so DBI encourages everyone to arrive early. The full First Friday event begins at 3 pm.

Downtown Bentonville Inc. and our partners Trailblazers, People for Bikes NWA, Runway Group, and Visit Bentonville encourage our community to ride to First Friday!  A Downtown Bentonville Park and Ride map has been created to aid in visiting downtown Bentonville without a car.
